    Hi Kevin,

Here’s your website’s customize page without https:// (https://) and you can see it works fine.

    Hi Kevin,

The issue with your site is it’s SSL.

We do not support SSL out of the box, you would need a custom setup for that, which can get expensive. If you would like a quote on that, please use our Free Quote page.

The cheaper solution is to do some custom development of your own to exclude the customizer pages from SSL. That means they should have URLs that start with https://, not https://. If you switch those pages like /customize/ over, they will work.

Small note, you can see in the address bar where the red X is (in chrome) that the SSL is not valid. This is because things like your logo in your header are linked to https:// URLs. You will also need a valid SSL certificate.

SSL is not necessary for every page in your website, but it is essential for your checkout and payment pages, like /cart/ and /checkout/ etc. You can control whether or not your whole site or just checkout if forced to SSL in your WooCommerce settings.

    Hi Bryce,

Correct PDF’s are not supported natively in neither HTML5 Canvas nor Flash, the formats that are supported are JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP.

PDFs can be rasterized with any online service to JPG or PNG and then uploaded.

For a custom development we could create a PDF rasterizer for PDF uploads. You’ll want to get a quote for that using our standard quote form.

    Hi

The easiest way would be to put a notice on your /customize/ page beneath the customizer.

Any size image is allowed for upload, they will be sized down to a practical size for print when uploaded through the app.

The file size is limited to a 20MB upload.

If you would like a feature added inside the customizer app, please use our Get a Quote form and describe the exact feature for our dev team to give an estimate.

    Thanks,

    Hi Alexa,

Depending on your customization features, print file size and requirements we can support JPG, PNG, and SVG.

For example, we do not currently support Monogram output nor effects with SVG without a custom development, but we do support that format for all other features.

Also, there are some memory limits with large format at high resolution, so many customers choose to print large format at 150dpi, which is a common practice at those sizes and still considered good quality.

You’ll want to reach out to Miguel with your exact requirements so he can point you to the right package and license for you, and also if you have complex requirements he can price you out on any custom developments that might be required.

You can also get a quote from Miguel through our online free quote request form here:

    Hi Will,

Yes the steps of the Customizer are changeable and orderable on our end, we can remove step 1, moving the other steps up in order, or change the order, or put in custom steps.

In your case, removing step 1, this would leave the Customizer with these 3 steps:

    1) Add Image
    2) Add Text
    3) Save

We can make a custom UI setup for you with a custom development package. You will want to speak with Miguel to get a package set up. You can also use our Get a Quote page to do that, which is located here:

    Hi Jake,

First, please make sure your MyStyle plugin and any MyStyle Add-Ons you might have are all up to date. If you have the Design Manager be sure it’s version 1.1.0 or later.

Is there an error message you can get from your page or server?

Try using a default theme and uninstalling any plugins except for WooCommerce and then re-enable your plugins one at a time (and theme) until you find what is crashing the front end. We have unit-tested the plugin on the current version of WP and WC and we are not able to replicate any issues with the front end. If you like, you can paste your WooCommerce diagnostics here and I can take a look at what plugins might be the conflict.

Sorry we don’t have a free trial currently. Right now our $9.99 developer license is the level of license you will need to play around with the plugin.

    Hi Bryce,

Glad updating the Design Manager fixed it.

I’m assuming that designs made with the private setting can not be viewed with your other email address because that address is not the same as the author address, and thus the plugin is trying to only show the design to the author – whether that be in the cart, in the design gallery, on it’s design profile page, etc. If you are logged in as an ADMIN account, though, you should be able to see all designs – private included. Try clearing your cache, clearing your cookies, etc and starting from scratch.

The outbound email that your WordPress site uses is where the MyStyle emails come from, there is not a different setting for this. You should be able to change your email settings in the normal wordpress and woocommerce settings.

If you like, you can try out our Email Manager for even more control over the outbound emails. This add on hooks into the WooCommerce email template for a much better looking email for design-saved confirmations, and allows you to edit the content of that automatic email:

    Hi Bryce,

You have an outdated MyStyle Design Manager add on.

These add ons are not in the WordPress Marketplace, so they will not automatically prompt you for update in your plugins list. You have to manually delete your old plugin, and then upload / install the new version.

You have Design Manager 1.0.1, please get the current version from our site (should be version 1.1.0 or higher).

This will help fix some issues with Private designs that you may find in other pages of the site, like the design gallery. It also adds the ability to delete designs from inside the admin.

If you’ve already downloaded that plugin add on before, you can log in and then go to My Account to download it again:

    My Account

If not, you can purchase it for free through our marketplace and that will give you a download link:

    Hi Bryce,

Looks like your up to date.

I just tried your site with Google Chrome and the Flash customizer, and made 2 designs, one with Public checked, and one with it unchecked (uncheck the box for show in public gallery in customizer step 4).

Both items show up for me in the cart OK and I have not logged in.

Here’s the screen shots of each design in my cart, first was public, second was private.

Screenshot of 1 Public and 1 Private design in the cart.

I don’t see any issues here. Can you test with 24×12 magnets product and verify it works for you too? Maybe something specific to your product set up is breaking it for some products and not others?

Maybe check your browser security settings as well. Perhaps you are blocking browser data or cookies or something that would block you from being known as the author of the design?

    Hi Bryce,

Can you verify which version of the plugin you are running? This issue was addressed a few versions ago when private designs were first supported.

Be sure you have the most current version.

As a typical debugging method, try to use a default theme with your other plugins disabled to verify that the behavior isn’t caused by any conflicts with a plugin or with a custom theme that is trying to affect the shopping cart.

If you want you can paste your WooCommerce system dianostic here. Your version of WooCommerce may also be a factor.

If you can send me a link to you example, I can have a look at it.

    Thanks,

    – Sean

    Hi Mike,

We work with many industries, it really depends what you’re looking to do. You’ll want to reach out to our sales department with your exact requirements and we can provide either Template IDs for existing product templates, or we can quote you out for the ones that are not already supported.

In general, I will say that a focused website does better than a “everything custom” website, so raking in every product you can without a focus would not be recommended unless there is a marketing plan or existing on-target traffic source in place that makes sense for that sort of site.

You can buy new template creation services in our marketplace for any sizes we do not have available. The issue I can tell you right away with using our existing templates will most likely be your exact requirements for bleed size and edge wrap options. This varies with most canvas companies and is why past canvas sites have had to have us recreate new templates rather than use ours.

Yes we have what is called our MyStyle fulfillment network consisting of various printing partners that we work with. This can indeed cover fulfillment many products like canvas, phone cases, apparel, etc. If you are interested in us managing fulfillment thru out network, you will be required to have a Managed License.

If you need a quote on template onboarding that goes beyond what we have in our marketplace, please use our Free Quote form and Miguel will be happy to price you out:

    Hi David,

Sounds like what you are looking for is a way to switch to a different template with a different size depending on what product attribute for size is selected, is that right?

We typically do recommend creating different products for each size, much like our site MakeCanvasPrints where you can see every size is a different product. This keeps the 1-to-1 relationship of a single product with a single MyStyle Template ID, and makes navigation work naturally thru WooCommerce.

That said, you have some options to custom develop a different flow or way of switching the mystyle ID.

You’re right that this would be a custom development or new feature that could probably be a bit of custom javavscript that lives on your product page. You would not necessarily need MyStyle for this if you have your own theme developer.

However another way to do it would be to create a custom product page all together instead of using the WooCommerce one. That way, you can easily code the logic to switch product IDs depending on choices. This is of course a custom development that goes outside of both MyStyle’s plugin and WooCommerce. An example of a custom product page that is custom coded by us would be here: https://www.makecanvasprints.com/canvas-prints/create/

Although we run wordpress and opencart on that site, that page is neither a wordpress nor an opencart page, it is custom coded.

These are two ways to create a custom workflow outside of our base plugin’s default functionality.

If you’d like a quote for us to help with this project, please contact Miguel directly or use the form here to request a quote:
