The Email Manager upgrades the outbound MyStyle automatic emails to use the WooCommerce email template rather than plain white with black text. This add on also provides a settings in your WordPress admin where you can edit the main email that is automatically sent when a user saves their design. This auto-email for saved designs is a great way to improve and build retention traffic, giving users confirmation that their design has been saved, with links back to the website to view, re-order, or reload their design to edit it further or add it to cart again.
You can use 3rd party plugins found in the wordpress.org plugin marketplace such as “WP Mail SMTP” to set up your email settings to use other providers like Google for outbound email, if need be. This add on specifically lets you edit the body content of the emails.
Use your WordPress admin plugin section to upload a new plugin. Upload the ZIP file you download from your account here on our site, and activate (click the activate link on the plugin that’s now in the list) once it’s been installed to turn it on. If you have an old copy of the plugin, you will need to deactivate and delete it first, then upload the new zip. That’s it!
The Email Manager add-on installs like any WordPress Plugin. Unzip it, upload it to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory on any website running the MyStyle Custom Product Designer plugin, and activate it thru your WP admin’s plugins list. It will then automatically start sending upgraded emails to users rather than the plain version.
