Sean PKeymasterHi Wouter,
Thanks for your feedback.
Correct, if you have Flash enabled you will get the old version (not responsive, fancier more colorful UI).
If you do not have flash, or it is blocked, as it is on all mobile devices and all browsers now by default including Chrome, you will get the HTML5 version.
The version you are most likely referring to is HTML5 and built for mobile-compatibility first and foremost. We tend to err on the side of simplicity and usability for this version over design aspects during this phase of the app’s development so that it can fit in with almost any website and work well on any device. The design is purposefully minimal for usability purposes and also to allow the design itself to have the majority of the focus and color in the experience.
We are able to do custom skins for the HTML5 app on a custom project basis, if you have a specific look and a development budget we can accommodate some UI changes.
We are improving the HTML5 customizer on a regular basis and you can expect a lot of great updates in the next months and thru 2018.
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterHi Yu-Ye,
Here’s our general instructions for reporting a bug correctly so that we may fix it the fastest:
Sean PKeymasterHi Yu-Ye
When making a bug report, it’s best to provide either a link to the page, or server errors from your logs, or follow the steps in our bug report forum so that we are able to investigate your errors.
Please link me to a custom product you’ve set up on your website so I can investiage.
Without any information, it’s very hard to guess what’s going on.
I would recommend trying the following:
1) Go into your WP Admin > MyStyle Settings > Check the box for disable Flash / HTML5 Only and try again. This should resolve issues with SSL if you’re using https://
2) disable other plugins that might cause conflicts
3) set up a product with product ID 1 for a basic test with a blank square template.
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterHi Philicia,
No problem, there’s most likely a discrepancy between the HTML5 customizer font list and the Flash app font list, and you’re used to seeing the latter when the customer is on the former. That said, we can provide links or font files for any fonts you might need (royalty free – Most all of the fonts are free online somewhere).

Also, if you enable Flash in your browser you can use the Flash version to reload and render a print file by sending it thru as a private design yourself, and retrieving the print file using the Design Manager. But, in this case it’s probably easier to just use the Vector Renderer and Illustrator to make any adjustments if needed.
For this particular customer I’ve gone ahead and used the MyStyle Renderer and also corrected what looks like might be a bug with line-breaks on HTML5 showing up in the SVG format and produced what should be pretty close to the original print file as vector for you to use, I’ll email this to you directly in a moment privately.
Thanks,
– Sean

For more news and updates on releases, check out our blog:
Sean PKeymasterHi Gordon,
We released 2.0.1 today for our main plugin and our add-ons for WP.
Please be sure to update to 2.0.1 to squash potential bugs that may occur with the older versions.
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterHi Rob,
Our main plugin and our add-ons have been updated today to 2.0.1. This patches an issue with the load order of some woocommerce plugins and fixes the issue with the menu item not showing up in the nav for Designs.
Please update to current from your download links for our add-ons in your account page in our site, and deactivate, replace, and re-activate those plugins.
Also, please update your main NyStyle Custom Product Designer plugin through your WP admin (normal update link).
Make sure everything is version 2.0.1 or higher and you should be good to go.
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterHi Rob,
This update just came out today so this is probably a bug. We should have a minor update to patch it pretty quickly.
I have verified this bug and created a ticket for you with our dev team. They will address it at their next availability, most likely tomorrow during business hours.
If you are able to roll back to the previous design manager plugin (1.x) it may work for you in the mean time until we squash this bug tomorrow.
Also, you can always access designs on the front end via the URL {yourwebsite}/designs/ as that gallery is run by the main plugin.
Thanks

Sean PKeymasterHi Rob,
There are no stupid questions, only bad/missing documentation :)
You can access the Design Manager in your WordPress Admin in the left main navigation under the MyStyle main menu heading, click “Designs” and you should see a list of all designs made in chronological order, similar to all posts in the “Posts” section.
Sean PKeymasterHi Philicia,
I emailed you a private link to a beta test of basic pattern support that can speed up your workflow. That should get you all the pattern assets you need.
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterNo prob. Also you may want to use the Design Manager add-on to grab design ID’s from recent designs easily if you make a bunch of designs in a row, and then want to go through and make products out of them.
Good luck!
Sean PKeymasterHi Rob,
Sure there’s lots of ways to skin a cat, it depends how your site is set up to flow.
For one, you can enter a Design ID in any custom product’s advanced mystyle settings. That will make that product load with that design. So, one “available image” could be a saved design with just that image already in the design, as a starting point or template for a customer to start with.
Design-ID Products like that can be tagged or categorized easily to build albums / categories of designs whether that be presented as “starter templates” or “popular themes” or otherwise.
Second, we can set up a custom image library inside the app’s backgrounds or foregrounds steps with your images either in addition to ours or completely in replace of ours (you can purchase this add-on in our marketplace).
Hope that applies to your website flow.
