    Hi Martin,

I won’t be able to debug the page if I can’t access the page, unfortunately. Can you provide me with a Username and Login to be able to see the site? If you provide the login, I can verify all of your settings on the backend are correct and troubleshoot the issue on the front end as well.

Do not provide the User/Pass here in the forum – you can email it or Google-Chat direct to me at sean@mystyleplatform.com

Alternatively, if you can provide your server’s error log for any errors that occur when you load this page, or the console log if any errors are there, I can offer any insight into what they mean or log them as a bug ticket, if there appears to be one on our end.

    Thanks,

    – Sean

    Hi Martin,

Can you supply a link to the page? I can check it out.

    A few things to doublecheck:

    * Make sure you have a valid product ID. Try product ID 1 if not.
    * Make sure your product has a price set. In WooCommerce, this can sometimes prevent the add-to-cart button (or customize button in it’s place) to be disabled.
    * Make sure if you have product options, they’re set. In WooCommerce products, if you use variations, the add-to-cart button (or customize button) can be disabled until variation options are chosen.
    * Make sure there are no javascript errors in the console
    * Try disabling additional plugins that may have a conflict, and test with just Woocommerce and MyStyle enabled.
    * Lastly, make sure you have the most current version of our plugin.

    Thanks,

    – Sean

    Hi Brad,

    I’ve emailed you.

Sounds like your product template may need an update.

Secondly, after the update the print render should come out as needed. I can help you with the font issue via email.

    Thanks

    Hi Brad,

Did you recently update WP, WC, MyStyle or anything that you think caused the bug? Make sure to take our latest update for the plugin from your WP admin, too.

I just tried your site and made a phone case OK. Can you link me to the product or a design on the product that has the issue? It may be specific to a single product template.

    Thanks,

    – Sean

Brad also added questions for you, Theresa:

Are those libraries customizable? Also, how do we handle different size banners?

    >> Custom graphics libraries can be purchased through our marketplace for a one time fee. You provide the images and we thumbnail them, index them in XML, and integrate them into your build custom.

Do we need to set up a separate product for each size of banner so that we can associate a design template with the right aspect ratio?

    >> Different size banners are different product templates with different sizes in the specs for each, traditionally. > Separate product template for each banner yes. With some custom development budget we could integrate a “choose your own size” on the product page prior to entering customizer, to allow for custom sizes

Finally, does MyStyle support vector graphics, or just raster? It looks like the designs and backgrounds may be inserted as raster.

    >> The custom hosted libraries of free graphics are raster, vector is too variable in different browsers its not consistent and JPG and PNG are widely used and almost always consistent. Thus you would have to provide high enough resolution images large enough for your product sizes. We will process them and make web and thumb sizes out of them for the web apps and use the originals on the backend for print (up to ~16,000px max dimension).

I should note that all the text, colors, fills/gradients, are vector until rendered for print as JPG but will remain vector if you save out the SVG format instead of JPG (options are there for both in the print file renderer).

    Hi Theresa

    Thanks for using MyStyle!

    1. Can a customer design their product from scratch?

    >> yes, that is the primary use case

    2. Will these custom made designs be in vector so I can just go in and print them?

    >> the MyStyle Print Renderer (printer icon in our header) will create their design as both:
    1) SVG (vector, can open with illustrator, web browser, etc / vector text and fills with raster images from user uploads) and
    2) JPG (raster / flattened / pixels only)

    3. Can I use 1 template for more than 1 product as long as it is the same size? For example if i have a 3×5 box or sheet of paper can i use the same template for different designs within the 3×5 size?
    >> Yes. Also, if you get orders on multiple products that have different sizes, then when you process the order in the renderer, you can change the print image size overall as pixels or as a DPI change to anything you want, and as long as it’s the same aspect ratio, it will not change the position of any of the design layout. But, if the aspect ratio is not the same, it will not fit right, but you’re welcome to try. If you don’t mind doing some manual editing, you could even change aspect ratios.

    4. If i have 4 different sizes of products do i need a template for each size? for example if i have a 2×4, 3×5, 4×6, 6×8 image can i use one template for all these sizes or do i need a template for each size?
    >> Looks like all separate aspect ratios, so I would say 4 x Tier 1, 1-sided templates, one for each size.

    5. Can I use that template to let the customer’s customize the products I have pre made, to add business or personal info, change the colors i have on the design etc.
    >> Yes, duplicate the blank product in WooCommerce, and set the “Design ID” to force the loading of one of your premade designs. When the customer presses “customize” that design will pre-load. Use the image from the design being saved as the product image to show the template as a product picture so people can clearly see the design they’re going to customize.

    6. Can we add our own graphics to this plugin for the customer to choose from? If so is there an additional cost or limit to how many we can add?
    >> No limit, but that is a custom development for us to set up, so yes there is a cost for custom libraries being added per-app. We can set it up in a couple hours of custom development time if you provide the image assets. You can purchase this service in our marketplace here: Marketplace

    Hi Ramkesh,

Can you provide any link to your page example?

    And please doublecheck the following:

    – WordPress / WooCommerce installed
    – You have an active license for the app (purchase here on our site by logging in and clicking on licenses from your dashboard)
    – API Key and Secret entered in settings (you receive this when you purchase a license)
    – At least 1 product made in WooCommerce
    – At least 1 product in WooCommerce enabled for customization
    – a Product Template ID entered in the mystyle custom product settings (try using ID 1 (no template) to start)

    Thanks,

    – Sean

    Hi Jose,

I emailed you directly with more details, but the main gist is that Custom Car Wraps owns their own templates having purchased and developed them with us years ago and own the usage rights to them as a result. You would need to do the same, purchase product templates from our marketplace and then work with us to develop them to meet your specs, if any. Template development is a one-time setup fee for each “side” of the template.

Here’s a link to the product templates in the marketplace:

    https://www.mystyleplatform.com/product-category/customizable-products/

You can use the demo products found here on our website, but our product template list does not include vehicles that are open for usage.

Lastly, you may want to check out the service Custom Car Wraps provides in it’s affiliate program, one of the levels allows you to have their customizer on your website with all their templates, it’s here:

There is also an “EDIT” button under the design thumbnail. Some themes might hide this or make the text very small, you may need to use CSS to boost the size or look of that link. That link allows people to edit their design and replace the one in the cart automatically, rather than creating a second design and adding that to cart too, and having to then manually remove the first one.

Also note we have an Add-On in our Marketplace for Changing Options in Cart. If you do go straight to cart, that is another way for users to edit the selections they made on the product page after the design app UX completes and they (by default) land in the cart. This add-on lets people change those options in dropdown menus in the cart and save their changes to update the cart totals etc when they save any changes.

    Hi Shane,

The easiest way to do a custom integration would be to use the custom redirect URL option in the settings, to send users through to a page that you control (your custom scripts). This way, once a user is done with their design, instead of being redirected to shopping cart, the user is redirected to any page you want, and then you can essentially take it from there.

The redirect itself will also contain information as GET or POST data, such as the design ID the user created, and other useful information about the design like the image URL, etc. From there you could proceed in your own environment however you like!

    Good luck!

    Hello,

We have tested it last week with the most recent WooCommerce and it passed all unit tests and front-end tests. That was I believe WooCommerce version 3.3.4 – they just released 3.3.5 five days ago, and we’ll be testing that one this week as well, but we expect no issues as it was a minor version release for WC.

    Thanks!

Wouter I should also note that we are seeing a higher completion rate on designs with this newer HTML5 version than we did with the Flash version on all sites. We attribute a lot of this to mobile users taking over 70% of traffic on most sites.

With a custom development budget anything is possible, but it is not currently a feature to edit the language file on our end, we would need to build that. I would estimate a good 30-40 hours of development to translate every string in the app and allow an editable language file. Please contact us through our quote request form if this is something you are interested in providing a development budget for.

I would expect later in 2018 we will reach translation on our own roadmap.

    Thanks
