Sean PKeymasterHi Matt,
I can help you debug.
Note: I moved your post to a new thread since it’s a different error than the “access denied” SSL thread it was originally posted in.
This is not an error we have in our Unit Testing, so it may be an environment related issue. Can you clarify what version of WP, WC, and MyStyle are you using at the moment? Can you link me to your website so I can take a look?
FYI you shouldn’t need to “delete” mystyle if there is an issue with running it, you can simply disable the plugin in your WP Admin and it will not run in any way.
Do you have a dev site we could use to debug?
Are there any other plugins running that manipulate products in WooCommerce?
Thanks
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterHi Evan,
You will want to speak with Miguel for a custom development. The full project with q/a and everything is expected to be between 10 and 15 hours.

Sean PKeymasterHi,
You are correct, the “edit options in the cart” plugin for WooCommerce only does Options.
Our add-ons plugin lets you manage add-ons, which are like product options but can be applied for groupings of products via both tags and categories. This does not currently support integration with the edit-in-cart plugin, which is only for product options.
With a custom development, we could in fact link these two plugins together with support for one another, and extend the “edit in cart” plugin to also allow add-ons.
When you say Add-ons, do you mean this or could you just use traditional Product Options instead of “add-ons”, in which case you just need the first plugin and won’t need the 2nd?
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterHi Mel,
Just circling back around to see if you got your print file link to download OK before we close our this old thread from last month.
Thanks,

Sean PKeymasterHi Nathan,
We do not have any free trials, right now, sorry. This is so that we can have our in house experts provide quality support for license holders. We did try a free trial, it didn’t work out well for us or the trial users, as we had a huge influx of installs and questions without any commitments and couldn’t keep up with the support requests for things that weren’t even related to MyStyle (ie WordPress issues, other plugins from other companies causing issues, etc). We decided a low fee is the best way for us currently to make sure we provide support to the customers who are serious and not just playing around. We have lots of live websites and demos you can use to see the app in action across a wide variety of product verticals, and you can test them on your phone or computer to see the different versions auto-load.
Most businesses need special tweaks and tunes and months of support to really take full advantage of our platform, so short trials don’t typically help reach those major milestones anyway, and can actually lead developers astray on their own simply because they don’t know what is possible beyond the basic plugin.
One thing to note, we have a major mobile / html5 customizer release coming up this week that is a major improvement on the UI and app as a whole.
Until you have a license, you’ll want to post in the Pre-Purchase Questions forum rather than the support forum, or get a quote directly from our sales team.
Sean PKeymasterHi Nathan,
No, sorry, we do not currently have a free trial offered at this time.
You would need to purchase a license to try out the plugin. The truth is, the best installations need custom product templates and some support to implement nicely, which we can provide through the forum with the Developer License, or by Email & Phone with the Standard or Managed licenses.
The developer licenses only really make sense if you have a straightforward customizer needs for how MyStyle comes out of the box, have your own developer resources that won’t need much support other than Forum for bugs and such, and a relatively small amount of product templates or templates that are in our demo set. Anything beyond this, and you would most likely be best served talking to the sales team about your specific specs and setup so we can get you a quote for the complete solution rather than just the 1 component.
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterHi Tina,
Please exclude your MyStyle Customizer pages from SSL so that it’s normal https:// not https:// for it to work properly.
If SSL is absolutely required, you can get a custom development to set you up with a dedicated SSL route, but this will be much more expensive in the long run than just excluding your /customize/ app page from SSL and SEO with standard best practices. We typically only do this for Enterprise level clients.
A developer should be able to accomplish either .htaccess or PHP-based SSL/non-SSL 301 redirection for you in less than 1 day, but this is beyond our Developer License support.
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterHi Viviana,
We can build any product to do anything you want, and if you are going that route (custom developments) you will need our Standard License (minimum) or our Managed License if your development is highly complex with a lot of ongoing maintenance required.
You are really describing a combination of Configuration and Personalization (design). For that, you will most likely need a custom product and a custom app developed. The default MyStyle app can do a limited set of configuration with swatches, but only up to about 6 options. For unlimited options, a custom UI would need to be developed, which we can provide a quote for as a custom development.
1) Yes it is, the demo is just of a center cropped area. The graphics can cover the entire garment, or a small segment, we can build it to your specs.
2) Yes, this is where configuration comes in, allowing the user to “choose” options that show visually in addition to allowing the user to “personalize” by adding their own content to the design or graphic.
3) Yes the entire app can be skinned with custom graphics to match any look or brand guidelines. Those graphics can be provided to us by you, or we can develop new graphics to meet your needs. This would be a custom development as well, but simple UI changes can be purchased in our marketplace for $99/ea.
Here’s where you can get a quote and talk to our sales team about your specific project needs:
Sean PKeymasterHi Nathan,
Sometimes that error is from not having the correct MyStyle License App ID and Secret in your settings. Can you doublecheck you have those entered in correctly by copying and pasting from your order confirmation email where you first received them?
Actually I’m having a hard time locating your license under your name, can you give me your license number so I can take a look at your account closer?
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterI’m sorry, Nathan, I lost track of your actual question a little while you were trash talking services that don’t offer SSL for free, do you have a question relevant to MyStyle specifically or are you simply asking if SSL on the homepage forces the rest of the website to be SSL too?
To be clear:
All of our assets are supported via SSL. So, you can allow your customized customer images to persist throughout SSL pages without any issues. The customize page itself, serving up the actual app, is non-SSL out of the box for a reason – it allows us to make it faster and cheaper for developer license / plugin users. We can set up SSL, as has been stated in the previous forum topics asking this same question.
Do we support SSL out of the box for cheap prices? No we don’t, and we have our own good reasons that you have not listed here.
You have already made one wrong assumption when you stated:
There is a catch with this: when a visitor has viewed your homepage, any modern browser will push all your subpages over SSL as well. So if you do this, you have to exclude your homepage as well. Are you prepared to do this?
This is just not true, and shows that you should get assistance from a developer that understands SSL redirection best practices.
It may seem like the homepage being SSL needs to happen or something else is happening, but it’s not. That’s not really how SSL redirection works. Every page in your site needs to have 1 official URL with automatic 301 redirect to the proper version if the other is loaded. Ideally for SEO you always have 1 primary protocol, but some pages can in fact be non-SSL or SSL without affecting the homepage or the preferred domain as a whole. This is mostly because of Google Search Console where you can see that registering each treats each separately. But, browsers don’t decide for you which page are SSL and which aren’t, as can be illustrated by every site in the world that has SSL checkout, and does not have SSL homepage, and does not need both to go one way or the other. You can absolutely have some pages be SSL, and some not, and not have any issues with “modern browsers”. The two ways to go about this are typically .htaccess rewrite rules or PHP header redirects, take your pick, they both have their advantages and disadvantages, but are pretty much invisible in the UX if done properly. Either way, the Customize page requires variables and is not a page you should consider for SEO or as a landing page.
If you do not understand how to do these things, then you are not really a developer, but someone who is taking on development. This is not really what a Developer License is for, as that is for developers who can generally set up their site and manage SSL and redirects on their own without our help.
For you, I would recommend either our Standard or even Managed licenses, or a custom development package (see get a quote page) to set up your website properly to handle SSL / Non-SSL, or any other issues you might run into.
If you need SSL, you will need a custom development, meaning you will need to talk with our sales dept to get a quote on your exact specific needs. I can tell you for sure, that it will be more expensive and require us to modify our load balancer setup to accommodate your SSL needs, or potentially dedicate more of a complex dedicated setup depending on your traffic levels. All that is generally not within the budget of our typical plugin customer. Our load balancers are optimized for speed so we can provide our services in a price tier that is not really profitable – that’s our developer license pricing. We do this to make the technology accessible to small businesses and bootstrap startups, but you will need an actual developer. Non-SSL is faster and cheaper than SSL, as you probably already know, so that’s the main reason our lowest licenses are out of the box non-SSL only.
Sean PKeymasterIs everything working OK for you now, Matt?
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean PKeymasterHi Nathan,
Sorry, we’re closed on the weekends for developer license support. I’ll respond to your forum post momentarily, which is 1 business day response.
For more immediate support, phone support, or hands on help with your site, just upgrade your license :)
Thanks
Sean PKeymasterHi Matt,
The plugin facilitates the integration of the app with your website.
You have to set up your products and enter the correct template IDs from your WooCommerce admin.
Sample Product Template IDs can be found on our Print Product Catalog page. If you need a specific product template, please contact us for a quote for us to create it. If it’s a simple product that should not need anything special, you can purchase product template creation services is in our Marketplace in either single (1), 3-pack, or 10-pack bundles.
