KeymasterHi Weldon,
If you just purchased, it will be emailed to you, and you can also find it in your profile in the private section under the main navigation User Icon > My Profile, at this direct link: https://www.mystyleplatform.com/user/
If you already have your info and you want to manage your license… Your license can be managed by logging in and then going to My Account (user icon in the main navigation). Look for Subscriptions in the left nav or My Licenses from the bottom control panel. Both will link you to the page where you can view, edit, upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or update your license subscriptions there any time. Here’s the direct link to your user dashboard: https://www.mystyleplatform.com/my-account/
Thanks,

KeymasterHey Tim,
We don’t have a setting for that yet, but it could be done wit a couple lines of javascript / jquery, for example if you want to change the button label to “Personalize” when it says “Customize”, when the page loads:
jQuery(‘document’).ready(){
var a2cButton$ = jQuery(‘form.cart button[type=”submit”]’);
if(a2cButton$.text().toLowerCase().indexOf(‘customize’) >= 0)
a2cButton$.text(‘Personalize’);
}This is untested code but should work, give it a shot by adding it to the page template in the header or footer or anywhere that loads on all pages or all woocommerce pages. And, if you want something besides “Personalize” as the button label, just replace that word in the code with whatever you prefer.
That said, if you’d like to upgrade to a Managed License we can either add this code to your site for you or build the feature into the plugin as an optional setting to avoid needing to add any code using the included dev hours. You can always downgrade licenses at anytime, too.
Let us know either way!

KeymasterHey Tim,
You will need to have the fonts installed on the computer you’re rendering the design on. It will say in the “assets” section of the render which fonts were used in the design. This is a one-time setup to install the font(s) and once you have them on that computer it will be able to render the fonts properly forever after that.
In the mean time, if you use the “request render” feature in the top right menu of the Renderer, we can render the print file for you and provide it accurately until you get your print production computer all loaded up with the right fonts.
I’ll send you a zip file with the main fonts you’re probably missing.
Thanks

KeymasterUPDATE:
DEVELOPER LICENSES NOW HAVE FULL ACCESS TO MYSTYLE PRINT RENDERER

KeymasterGood News!
Just an update, there is now a way to specify an alternate UX that removes additional steps to make it a 2-step app with only Image Upload and Checkout. Please contact us for more info if you would like more info!

KeymasterHi Andrei,
After talking to our dev team, we can provide an alternate UX that removes the TEXT step with just about 1 hr of custom development and deployment, so in that case you can upgrade just to Standard License and we can deploy that new feature pretty quickly.
Eliminating individual buttons within the images step is a bit more custom programming, for that one additional hours or a Managed License upgrade would take care of it.
Thanks,

KeymasterHello Andrei,
There is no support for removing the UI requested currently.
The alternate UX option you used so far to remove BG could be expanded upon to include the additional steps.
We can do a custom programming on our end to add another alternate UX for your use case, called something like “image-upload-only”, however that will require you to either upgrade your license to Managed and use the included dev time (5 hrs), or upgrade to Standard License (1 hr) and add on any custom development time as needed. The development project to remove those steps, buttons and add support for the new alternate UX, test and push to production and test some more, is estimated to be 2-5 hrs.
Also keep in mind that the text and free graphics are used FREQUENTLY by people who purchase canvases on other sites. These are generally good for conversion and aid in providing a way for customers to very easily personalize in ways that they can’t do otherwise. I would test the app with all features and see what sales come through before removing what might be the main sales driver for your users compared to other sites that only have image-upload.

KeymasterHi Andrei,
That’s right, but our Developer: Alpha license is currently only offered annually ($99/yr).

KeymasterHi Andrei,
The Hoicker article was incorrect. And, our pricing is not just for Support, though that is pretty important, it’s also for updates, usage of the app, storage of it’s assets and users’ designs, access to our print file renderer for high-res, editable production ready files, and all of our remotely hosted services and bandwidth.
Our WP Plugin is free, true, but it only facilitates the integration with WordPress, not the hosted app itself, or the remote services that MyStyle provides. Like many premium plugins, “Service-Ware” is the implementation of an app that utilizes remotely hosted services. In our case, we are storing and serving up the app remotely including all of the graphics, fonts, user’s saved designs, etc indefinitely, and unfortunately that does cost a small amount of money. This is good for the host site, since it means it doesn’t add any load to your website’s servers, and doesn’t take up hardly any space either. This allows the MyStyle solution to be scalable for any site, and we use Amazon AWS infrastructure to ensure that.
The cheapest license we currently offer is the Developer: Alpha License at less than $9/mo which is billed annually.
The reason our “Get a Quote” page has the budget option of “$0” is to make sure we can let people know that this won’t be an option to set expectations that this is plugin is for businesses, and is very affordable. That page is more commonly used by people who need a full website solution, thus the first budget level being “Under $1000” as most of our full website solutions will start above that mark, and budgets below that should DIY it with our Developer License and their own developers, rather than our Website development services, to make it as cheap as possible.
I should also note that since we hand-craft each product template for the app too, product templates have to be created in-house by our team and are typically $99/ea per side, but it can vary based on complexity. We also include your print requirements, like print size, DPI, bleed size, etc to make sure your print files can be generated for production as ready-to-print at your required resolution. You can use product template ID “1” for a blank square template to test with, or any of our Sample Product Template ID’s found here on our site. https://www.mystyleplatform.com/mystyle-product-catalog/
There is one other option though, when it comes to templates, and that is to use the plugin “TM Extra Product Options” from a company called “Theme Complete”, and assign “height” and “width” product options to a single product and enable it for Cusotmization with MyStyle, with Template ID “1”. Then, you can use that product privately on the front end to enter any height and width in the options, and click “Customize” to dynamically generate Customizer links for various sized templates that you can copy out of the address bar to develop with. This is a workaround to create dynamic sized templates rather than purchasing our product template creation services. This will only show as a blank rectangle of the size created in the app, though, so it’s not great for products that need product photos in them, so for that I’d suggest using our templating services are here: https://www.mystyleplatform.com/product-category/customizable-products/
To have a canvas texture background, or shading or lighting effects, etc, we will need to set up each size template for you. This is is a one-time cost and the templates may be kept private for your own usage on your site only.
Thanks,
– Sean

KeymasterHi Martin,
Please purchase a custom Product Template service and then send your specs. I think actually you already sent your specs, but you purcahsed a Developer License, which does not include free template services.
With a developer license you can use the blank square template (template ID 1) as a dummy template to test integration with in the mean time. You can also use this product ID with a plugin called TM Extra Product Options for WooCommerce by Theme Complete, to allow entering of any dimensions to create any size rectangular template by adding fields for “height” and “width”, but that won’t apply product graphics or custom masks to the template, that’s what we have to do by hand for you with our template service ($99 ea per side).
You can find the links to purchase new template services on your user dashboard where it says “Purchase Product Templates” here:
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Martin,
As noted in the previous reply, that is the intended behavior for this product template. It is a custom frame product, where you design on the outer frame and it comes with the center blank, for inserting a photo into in real life. The frame itself is printed, not the photo area in the center.
If you like, we can help you develop custom product templates to meet your specs. You can purchase that service here through our website for a one-time fee per template, and you can keep the IDs private to your site once they’re made. Our new-product-template creation services can be purchased here: https://www.mystyleplatform.com/product-category/customizable-products/
Also, if you want just blank templates of various sizes, you can do that yourself by using the plugin TM Extra Product Options by ThemeComplete and by setting up “width” and “height” fields. Then, enabling “configur8” within the ADvanced MyStyle product tab. This will allow the customize button to be clicked and then use the Address bar to copy a link to that size. Use that link within your design when you make buttons for that product, etc. When you do this, the URLs that go through and are recognized by MyStyle and load then at the sizes set on the product page when it goes through to the MyStyle Customizer on the next page.
It’s a bit complicated, I know, which is why we’d recommend our Standard License support so we can help you out with it, or just to purchase premade templates from us that will work right away with a single ID.
Thanks

KeymasterHi Martin,
Product template 840 was updated to be compatible with the new Customizer, you can go ahead and try it now and it should automatically be updated on your site as well.
Thanks,
– Sean
Sean P
KeymasterHi Martin,
Glad it’s working OK for you now.
The Product Template ID 840 is actually an outdated template from the original Flash app, it has an issue with the mask that is outdated we can correct. The product actually allows design in the outer section of the frame, not the inner picture area. Is that what you want?
If you want to set up a bunch of blank sizes, you can use the plugin TM Extra Product Options to set up “width” and “height” fields for one product. Then, you can use that product to set various sizes, click through to the Customizer, and copy those links as a way to generate dynamic product templates of various sizes and options.
If you don’t want to go with blank sizes from the above method, you can have specific templates made to match your exact print specs, with graphical templates made for you and integrated with new template IDs by our team. We have to do those manually in house. You can purchase that service here through our website for a one-time fee per template, and you can keep the IDs private to your site once they’re made. New product template creation services can be purchased here: https://www.mystyleplatform.com/product-category/customizable-products/
Thanks,
– Sean
